BOC - Commitment to Safety

Over the last 3 years PBF Australia has had the pleasure of conducting 5 Injury Prevention Presentations for BOC shift workers at their head office in Rocklea, QLD.

BOC is a member of The Linde Group, a leading global gases and engineering company, which serves customers in more than 50 countries. They develop safe, sustainable and innovative solutions for customers in many specialty sectors, heavy industry and medical environments.

PBF was asked to personalise BOC’s standard safety meetings.  Our very effective approach is to hear from the actual person who incurred a major injury at work.

Paul Carson was PBF’s presenter and the feedback received from BOC staff was insightful.

“PBF gave a series of great presentations at our safety meetings. Paul presented his story well and tied in perfectly with BOC’s commitment to safety.  He shared a message that helped everyone think about how their behaviour can impact themselves, their work mates and their families.  Hearing a first-hand account of a real workplace accident really brought home the real consequences of our actions at work and at home.” Jonathan Pelly, Production Shift Manager Rocklea.

BOC is known as experts in their field, and they hold the safety of people and sustainability of our communities as their top priority. BOC are firmly in the driver’s seat when it comes to their involvement in the V8 Supercar community, as well as their charity involvement with organisations such as Road Safety Education.

PBF Australia would like to congratulate BOC for their commitment to their workers’ safety and look forward to continue our working relationship with BOC into the future.
