Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week
|
PBF in Western Australia, is proud to be taking part in the national campaign, Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week (SIAW) which will run from November 10-16th 2008. The week is dedicated to reducing the number of spinal injuries which happen every day in Australia.
PBF has chosen the flower, the Iris as our logo for the week. The Iris symbolises inspiration. PBF believes that we have some of the most inspirational people in the world as staff. Individuals who, have not only sustained a life changing injury, but use their personal stories to encourage others to change their behaviour to avoid serious injuries. There are a number of ways which you can help support PBF and all the wonderful work we do: 1. Attend the PBF Benefit Lunch and be inspired by two of WAs most inspirational women. 2. Enter the SIAW Members Only competition and have the chance to win one of three fabulous prizes. 3. Hold your own fundraising event and raise some much needed funds for PBF in WA. 4. Purchase the new 'THREE' DVD and support the PBFPREVENTION-Road program in WA.
