Simon Bedbrook 

Chairman
David Bedbrook

The son of PBF's founder, Sir George Bedbrook, David is a long-standing director of PBF. He is the principal of Bedbrook Johnston, an agricultural consultancy providing market research, management and strategic planning services to the agricultural sector. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and the Australian Property Institute; Past President of the Australian Association of Agricultural Consultants (WA branch), and a Director of Agricultural Research WA.

Simon Bedbrook

Simon is the grandson of the founder of PBF, Sir George Bedbrook.  Simon began his career in the Management Consulting and Financial Services Industry, as well as having spent time in Victoria as the Managing Director of a Retail Chain. He is now the Managing Director of Bedbrook Financial Services which offers Financial Planning advice to clients in WA, Melbourne and Sydney.  He has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and a Diploma of Financial Planning (Financial Services).

Grant White

A founding member of PBF, Grant White is returning to the board after a short break. He was intimately involved in establishing the Paraplegic Benefit Fund in Australia, and succesfully managing its development for over 20 years.

Grant has over 30 years experience in general, commercial and personal injury law and was a founding principal of law firm, White Jordin. He has also been a director of numerous private companies.

Grant is currently a consultant to White Jordin and is CEO of Ability One in Queensland & NSW.  Ability One is a specialist financial advisory service for individuals who have received compensation following a serious accident.

Stephen Pollard
 

Stephen has extensive experience in commerce and industry, particularly in the areas of finance, payroll, legal and governance, strategic planning and business analytics and information services.

He is currently Chief Financial Officer for the W.A. Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Prior to joining CCI in 1991, he was the Finance Director of Bowra Holdings Ltd and a Director of a multi franchise motor vehicle dealership.

Stephen has a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting), was a Leadership WA Graduate in 2006 and a Queens Trust participant for future leader’s participant in 1995.

Paul Italiano

Paul has gained extensive experience in the financial services sector over the past 20 years whilst working for some of WA’s largest financial services companies.

Paul is currently a Business Development Manager in the Wesfarmers Group and has previously been General Manager – Financial Services at HBF and Chief Financial Officer at RAC. Paul has also worked in Corporate Finance with Ernst and Young.

Paul has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University and an MBA from UWA. 

In 2006, Paul became a Fellow of Leadership Western Australia, having completed the year long Fellowship programme.

 

 

Director 
Craig Serjeant

Craig Serjeant commenced his professional life as a Pharmacist. In 1987 he completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and later, achieving the status of Certified Financial Planner. He joined Gannon Growden & Schonell & Associates in 1988 to establish the financial planning division and has been Director of Financial Planning since that time. In 1993 Craig was voted Financial Planner of the Year – Western Australia by Money Management magazine.
