Spinal cord injury turns life upside down. The weeks or months spent in hospital after an injury can be a daunting experience. So too can facing life again with reduced mobility and all the other challenges that go along with paraplegia and quadriplegia. PBF recognizes this and offers help through peer support and family support (both currently only available in WA).

PBF's Peer Support Officer is someone with a longstanding spinal cord injury who can offer support and mentor ship to the newly injured as well as advice on a wide range of practical issues.

PBF Peer Support shows that life can, and does, go on with a spinal cord injury. Click here if you would like to contact the WA Peer Support Officer.
