Jayde's Story - (pictured right) On Sunday 20th July 2003, Jayde received $100,000, in the centre of Subiaco Oval, before a Dockers game. Jayde became a quadriplegic playing in the Amateur Football League in Perth. Miraculously, his club had taken out PBF membership only the day before the game. Although a tragic injury for Jayde and his young family, the $100,000 that PBF paid him went a long way towards the adjustments that Jayde had to make to accommodate his new life. |   |
David's Story - (pictured left) David’s PBF membership was included in the cost of a holiday he went on. When he broke his neck in a motorcycle accident, PBF paid David $100,000 within weeks of his injury. He waited four months to receive the first small payment from his income replacement insurance.
