Ricardo Jansen Remembrance

PBF Australia would like to pass on our sincere gratitude to Ricardo Jansen and his family.

Ricardo began presenting with our WA office in 2003. He was involved in a motorcycle accident that resulted in C2 complete quadriplegia. Regardless of the physical limitations he faced, Ricardo travelled the world, married Pip, started a family (son Sam), and inspired people whenever he delivered PBF Injury Prevention Road Safety Presentations.

Ricardo presented consistently in the Road and Youth Programs in Western Australia up until his passing in July 2013. Ric has generously donated a percentage of his residuary estate to PBF Australia for which we are extremely grateful.

Ricardo and his motivation to live a productive life lives on in the many friends he had, and in the young people he spoke to over the 10 years he worked with PBF Australia’s safety teams.

If you are interested in donating to our Gift Fund you can find out more details here.
