PBF Australia is delighted to announce Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AO, Governor of Western Australia as Patron. Mrs Sanderson accepted the role with a personal insight into the life-changing impact of spinal cord injury, having previously sat on the Board of PBF Australia.
“Spinal cord injury affects not only the person injured, but also their family and everyone around them and coming to terms with a spinal cord injury is a frightening and confusing time,” Her Excellency said. “I have personally witnessed the difference PBF Australia makes through their Peer Support and providing employment opportunities for those living with the injury.”
“We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Sanderson as Patron of PBF Australia. She has shown a great depth of understanding and affinity for the paraplegic and quadriplegic community,” said David Bedbrook, PBF Chairman. PBF Australia is honoured to have her support as we continue working towards easing the impact and incidence of spinal cord injuries in the Australian community”
