The PBF Peer Support team plays a crucial role in the lives of people who have sustained a spinal cord injury and we are delighted to announce At Home Care as the major sponsors of this vital program.

At Home Care are a NDIS service provider specialising in the provision of in-home care and nursing to those with spinal cord injuries.

“I spent 21 years as a Clinical Nurse on the state spinal unit now based at Fiona Stanley Hospital and understand firsthand how difficult the initial weeks and months of a spinal cord injury are for the patient, their family and friends” says At Home Care’s Head of Care and Nursing, Dee Donachie.

“Having in-hospital access to someone who has been in the same situation and is now embracing life as a paraplegic or quadriplegic in the community is an invaluable program At Home Care is so proud to support.”
With this sponsorship we will be able to continue to improve how we support new spinal cord injury rehabilitation patients to move forward with confidence.
