Reducing distracted driving
We are proud to have participated in RAC bstreetsmart 2021.
This annual road safety education event is designed to reduce the fatality and injury rates of young West Australians by promoting safe behaviour as drivers, riders, and passengers.
Over two days around 13,000 Year 10-12 students were introduced to the consequences of distracted driving through the re-enactment of a crash scene by real emergency service personnel.
They heard the powerful personal stories of guest speakers who have been directly impacted by road trauma including PBF’s Konnah Ruru and Rob Pike.
Since 2012 more than 65,000 school students have attended RAC bstreetsmart.
