An experienced motorbike licence holder and vigilant rider, Ali understood the vulnerability of road users and the lifelong consequences of poor decisions. On what should have been an ordinary ride to a doctor’s appointment, she was struck by a driver who wasn’t paying attention — a split second that reshaped her future.
