Jason Ludlow grew up enjoying the outdoors lifestyle of Darwin — fishing, hunting, motorsport and time with mates.
Life felt steady and full of promise until one night changed everything. As a passenger in his best friend Ben’s car, Jason was involved in an illegal street race that ended in disaster. Another vehicle lost control and clipped them, sending their car spinning at high speed into a tree.
Jason survived; Ben didn’t.
That moment reshaped Jason’s life and beliefs. Now, he shares his story to remind young people that tragedy doesn’t discriminate — and safe decisions on the road truly save lives.
