Mark was just 14 when life changed in an instance.
On a hot day after work, Mark decided to go for a quick swim in the pool before dinner.
Except this time, after jumping in feet first, his life changed forever when the reverberations from landing on the bottom of the pool causing the vertebrae to crush his spinal cord.
Today, Mark lives as a C4/5 quadriplegic. He speaks at schools to teach students about the importance of safety, not just in the pool, but in every day life.
