“Make good choices.”
Wayne was 17 years old when he was a passenger involved in a life changing car crash caused by drink driving. He sustained injuries to his brain and spinal cord at C5 and C6 making him a quadriplegic. Like so many people at this young age, the choices that are made can have a devastating effect on the rest of your life.
The road to recovery for Wayne has been long and difficult but he has found the strength to live with complete independence. He finds enjoyment by going to watch the V8 supercars, watching football and by spreading awareness through PBF programs to today’s youth, presenting his story and explaining that everyone has choices and to use them wisely.
